Supervisory Board of Industrial and Commercial China said some 1,200 websites selling counterfeit goods will be closed. Previously, according to Xinhua news on Wednesday (07/09/2011), Industrial and Commercial Administration (SAIC) 504 728've checked it on the internet since November 2010. Of that total, 1199 sites are already closed at the end of June 2011. "They violated the laws on trademarks," said the SAIC.
Meanwhile, there are still 6895 sites were ordered to stop because of violation of the law. "Goods that are affected by the crime of counterfeiting was 38,446 products," said the official from the Ministry of Trade Marks SAIC Zhang Junqin.
Looking ahead, said Junqin China Trademark Festival at the Fourth in Chengdu, the company would continue to investigate sites suspected to be selling counterfeit goods. "We will improve protection of intellectual property rights," Zhang demikan Junqin.
